ان الوجود الإنساني ليس هو وجود الأشياء المصنوعة ، فهو موجود فقط ، وشخصيته ليست مبنية على نمودج سلبق ، ولهدف محدد من قبل . إن جميع الأشياء موجودة على اساس استخدامها . اما الإنسان فليس موضوعا ولااداة لغاية ما .... فهو مشروع أي ما سيكونه وما سيخلقه من قيمة ، وافعاله فهو الدي يمنح للحياة معنى ، ويختار للأشيلء قيما فهو دائما وراء كل وضع . ودائما شعوره وراء داته ... فالوجود الإنساني غير منجز ولكنه سيكون بدون انقطاع .
